This is a personal project. Volodymyr Pavlov runs it and is responsible for the personal data described on this page (the controller under the GDPR). If you have a question about this page, send it through the contact page of my blog.

What This Game Collects

Nothing. There are no accounts, and no game is sent anywhere. The game, its fonts and the engine all come from this site, and the engine runs inside your browser. The only things kept are two settings in your browser's local storage: the board skin you picked and, if the site has analytics set up, your answer to the consent bar.

Google Analytics

If the site has analytics set up, a consent bar asks whether it may count your visit with Google Analytics. Nothing from Google is loaded before you say yes. If you allow it, Google Analytics sets cookies whose names start with _ga and sends Google your IP address, your browser details, the pages you open, and the page you came from. Google may process this data in the United States under the Google Privacy Policy. Advertising features and Google Signals are turned off. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can take it back at any time with the "Analytics choice" link under the game. If the site has no analytics set up, there is no bar and nothing is loaded.

Hosting

The game is hosted on Firebase Hosting, which belongs to Google. When you open the game, Google gets your IP address and browser details. It may keep them in server logs to serve the site and to protect it from abuse. Google is based in the United States and processes this data under the Firebase Privacy and Security terms. The legal basis is a legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
